Vítor Pomar was born in 1949, in Lisbon. He studied at the Fine Arts School of Lisbon and of Oporto (66-69). He lived in the Netherlands in the seventies, where he attended the Free Academy of The Hague and the Free Academy of Rotterdam. He has taught silkscreen at the Free Academy of The Hague (73-74). He uses different techniques in his work: b/w photo, experimental film 16mm and super 8mm. and video.
